Product Line: Hydraulic Flange Expanders
- Flange expanders should be used in pairs to provide uniform expansion force
- Standard 60° wedge fits most flanges; 30° "thin" and 60° "blunt" wedges available
- Maximum operating pressure 700 bar (10 psi)
- Uses standard 3/8″ high flow coupler
- Use HFS3A for applications where the total flange thickness and maximum diffusion gap is 76,2 mm or less and the flange bolt minimum diameter is 17,5 mm.
- Please use HFS6A if the total flange thickness and max. diffusion gap is 152,6 mm or less and the flange bolt min. diameter is 20,7 mm.
Think safe
The manufacturer's load and stroke ratings are maximum safe limits. Good practice encourages using only 80% of these ratings!
