- Single acting, load return, up to 3% of maximum capacity Side load
- Stage 1: Maximum load capacity at lower strokes.
- Stage 2: Extended stroke with lower capacity than Stage 1.
- Final stage: maximum travel extension at minimum capacity.

The manufacturer's load and stroke ratings are maximum safe limits. Good practice encourages using only 80% of these ratings!
